Are vaccinations required for my dog to use Welcome Waggin’s services?
While we do not require proof of vaccinations, we take the health and safety of all pets seriously. We do not accept any dogs showing signs of illness, including but not limited to symptoms of rabies, distemper, or any contagious infections. We ask all pet parents to ensure their dogs are in good health before drop-off.
What should I bring with my pet for their stay?
To help your dog feel comfortable and right at home, we recommend bringing their regular food, any medications they may need, and a favorite blanket, toy, or item that smells like home. You're also welcome to bring their bed or crate if it helps them settle in. If you have any specific care instructions, just let us know—we’re happy to accommodate!
How are pets supervised during playtime?
At Welcome Waggin NJ, we only care for one dog at a time, so your pup receives our full attention. Pets are supervised at all times during play sessions to ensure a safe, stress-free, and enjoyable experience tailored just for them.
Do you care for senior dogs?
Yes! We welcome senior dogs as long as they are non-aggressive and stable in their condition. Just let us know any special instructions and we’ll make sure they’re cared for with patience and love.
Where will my dog be staying?
Your dog will stay in a cozy, home-based environment—not a kennel. We treat every pup like family and provide them with comfort, companionship, and one-on-one care throughout their stay.
Do you offer meet-and-greets before a stay?
Yes! We encourage meet-and-greets in person or through video call, so you and your pup can get to know us. It’s a great way to ensure everyone feels comfortable before the stay begins.
Can I get updates during my dog’s stay?
Absolutely! We’re happy to send photos, videos, or text updates to keep you connected while your dog is with us.
What happens if my dog has a medical emergency?
In the rare case of a medical emergency, we will contact you immediately and seek care from your preferred vet or the nearest available animal hospital. Your dog’s safety and well-being is our top priority.
